Data Controller

FuelMap is operated by BRGLT B.V., a company registered in the Netherlands.

  • Company: BRGLT B.V.
  • KvK number: 93739775
  • VAT number: NL004904911B89

What FuelMap Uses

  • Location (precise or approximate) when you allow it, to show nearby stations.
  • Search terms and selected places to return map and station results.
  • Station request parameters such as coordinates, fuel type, and radius to query the FuelMap backend.
  • Vehicle profile inputs (for example tank size and consumption), and plate lookup data if you use plate lookup.
  • Subscription and entitlement status when FuelMap Pro purchases are enabled.
  • Price report submissions (station, fuel type, reported price, proximity data, and a random local reporter token).

How It Is Used

  • Show relevant stations and prices near your chosen area.
  • Calculate refill and net-savings estimates from your own vehicle and tank inputs.
  • Restore subscriptions and unlock Pro features when available.
  • Protect the service from abuse and keep results reliable.

Third-Party Services

FuelMap relies on external providers for map rendering, location search, station data, optional vehicle data lookups, and billing. Depending on the feature you use, this can include Mapbox, OpenStreetMap/Nominatim, FuelMap backend APIs, RDW open data, RevenueCat, Apple App Store services, and Google Play services.

Storage and Retention

  • Preferences such as selected fuel and location are stored locally on your device.
  • FuelMap backend endpoints may log technical request data (including IP and user agent) for security and operations.
  • Official fuel-price datasets are treated as operational price snapshots rather than long-term personal user profiles.
  • FuelMap does not require a personal account to use the app.
  • FuelMap does not sell personal data.
